Our cute little skeleton babies!

Concordiafest!
We ended our weekend with a visit to the fall festival at Ella’s daycare. Ella had so much fun just running and running and running in the wide open fields!
But a fall festival isn’t complete without…
1. sharing a snow cone with Daddy,
2. a ride down the biggest slide you’ve ever seen,
3. a balloon to match your outfit,
4. an attempted pony ride,
5. a train ride,
6. car races,
7. and fun times with friends!
The girls had so much fun with these cars that Megan and I both have already jumped on Craigslist and found them each one of their own! :) I see more car races in our future!
I was sitting here watching Ella play thinking about the fact that next year at this time I’ll have an almost 6 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. Last year Ella was only 5 months old so we didn’t come to any of these Fall activities, but what a fun time of year! And each year will continue to be so different as our family grows. We have so much to look forward to! Happy Fall!!
More Fall fun!
On Saturday we met some friends at another pumpkin patch! Since we’ve done this once before, we decided to change it up and get Ella dressed in her Halloween costume. This year Ella is a little mouse! She is wearing a costume that my mom made for my sister over 30 years ago and all the girls in my family have worn it. I have been so excited for Ella to wear it this year. The only problem is that it has a head piece, and it’s no surprise that my stubborn 17 month old refuses to wear it, but oh well…she looks adorable anyway! I did manage to snap a couple of pictures with it and in all honesty, she woke up from her nap pretty grumpy on this particular day, so I’m hoping she’s a bit more cooperative on Halloween night! That may be wishful thinking….
Michael and I just love the little tail!!
Good friends who have changed SO much in just 1 year!!
We’re headed to Austin for Halloween and even though we are sad to miss the Brown Family Annual Halloween get together, we are very excited about trick-or-treating with cousins Hutson and Bailey!

Beat OU!
Check out this same picture exactly 1 year ago…2008 OU Blog
This year for the Texas vs. OU game, we went over to our good friends Ben and Terri McPeak. They had so many fun things to do in their back yard and Ella probably went down their slide 1,000 times!
Saying goodbye and getting hugs from both Cash and Carter!
Pumpkin Patch!
Last weekend we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins for our house! This year we went to Alamo Heights Methodist Church and they had a TON of pumpkins!
Ella had fun climbing and came home with scratches all over her legs!
beautiful blue eyes!
