Kiddie park

With Daddy in the midst of another tax season, the kids and I braved Kiddie Park on our own and we had a blast!  Sometimes it's easier to get out of the house and be in an environment of pure entertainment!  This was Easton's first time to enjoy the rides and Ella's first time to ride everything all by herself with absolutely no fear! It was fun!

A day at the Lake!

This past weekend we had a blast at the lake with the McPeak's!  Thanks for taking us out on your boat!

At first Easton hated the life jacket as well as the noise and feel of the boat, but Ella was super excited and had so much fun jumping and playing in the water!

Easton warmed up pretty quickly and had fun playing catch all day long with Terri!  The key to his heart is with a ball!

     

 The kids enjoyed seeing Daddy wakeboard, but Easton could not keep his little eyes open no matter how hard he tried!

He even fell asleep at the wheel!

Ella cozied up and took a nap on Terri....

She also cozied up with Cash McPeak!  They kept holding on to each other while sitting on the back of the boat.

It was a fun day and always great to be out on the water!

Making beds.

I fully admit that I don't make the beds every single day, but I do it often!  And since I know she is fully capable, I recently told Ella that she should also try to make her own bed on a regular basis.  The first couple of times she kept saying, "Are you going to help me mommy?  What do I do now?"  She is at the age where she loves to do things like this and help me so I might as well encourage it when possible!  

She is very precise about folding her blankets and putting her "stuff" in the right spots.

After avoiding the heat for too long, we've finally been enjoying the baby pool once again and taking baths outside 75% of the time for the past 2 weeks!  The kids LOVE it and we love to see such huge smiles!
