Who doesn't love a late evening dip??

Daddy was able to take a small break from tax season to be home for a brief moment and I was able to snap these sweet pictures of him and the kids.  They sure do miss each other!  Tax season is hard on all of us, but we're nearing the end!!!

More bluebonnets!

While playing at a park the other day, we were able to snap a few more bluebonnet pics, not in our backyard...

 

Bluebonnets in our backyard!

Before they even bloomed, Mimi spotted the bluebonnets in our backyard!  I was so excited and have been anxiously watching them bloom.  Thanks to all the rain, we've had tons and they just keep multiplying!  

We've had fun playing outside and in the flowers, except for the time we were specifically trying to get blue bonnet photos and Easton fell into a cactus!

 Below he was coming at me, right before he tripped and fell into a cactus that was hiding underneath the thick flowers.  :(  It definitely hurt, but he was back to himself after a soothing bath.  There was nothing we could do but just wait for the small cactus needs to come out of his knee all on their own...at least now he is VERY aware and stays clear of cactus!  He's constantly point them out saying "no no cactus!"

Pretty weather, pretty flowers, and pretty kids!

Since we had been gone all weekend, and Daddy worked his tail off, he made sure to be home to spend the evening with us when we got back from Mimi and Papa's house.  We immediately decided to go explore in the beautiful weather and flowers!

We were all on the lookout for bluebonnets, but Ella just loved the little purple and white flowers!

Easton ALWAYS keeps his eye out on Jakey and never lets him roam far.

The kids got a lollipop treat for being such angels in the car and all weekend while out of town!
