Spartan Race - TEAM CHISPA

We ran the 5K+ spartan race with 20+ obstacles. It was so fun and I'm so thankful to Megan Brown for inviting us all to do it together! 

That evening after the race, we all cleaned up and then met at El Mirasol for chispas and dinner to celebrate our Team CHISPA!

Spring Break - Snow Skiing in Northstar, Lake Tahoe March 5 - March 10, 2022

First day skiing:

2nd day skiing - I had a fun day skiing with Asher and he loved leading me all around the mountain. The girls had a great time with their dads and they are always up for anything!

The boys and I left early and I loved reading by the fire while the boys worked on their outdoor snow fort.

Lake Tahoe Memories:

• Asher skied his first black run.  3 total: toninis, railsplitter and burnout. Skiing a black was his goal from the beginning of the trip!!
• Ella, Sophie and Sloane met their goal of skiing every single black run that was open.
• Ella’s favorite: railsplitter, powder bowl and iron horse 
• Moms favorite: powder bowl, all of the blues. Loved the ability of the mountain and how easy it was to ski all the way down to the bottom of the mountain. Washoe was the hardest blue I did and I was really proud of myself. I felt a huge improvement this trip and enjoyed skiing more than I have in the past.  
• Dad’s Favorite: Railsplitter and terrain park 
• Easton’s favorite: washoe and terrain park 
• Asher’s favorite: washoe, railsplitter and terrain park
• Loved our condo…it was very cozy and so easy to jump on and off the shuttle.
• We had good healthy food at our condo and planned well.
• Next time would prefer to be in same condo as our friends.
• Had a super fun dinner with us adults only at the Ritz Carlton and we left the kids all home alone.
• The boys spent every single free moment outside digging and building the snow ball fort.  They loved it so much.
• The boys loved the terrain park!
