New Years Eve at the Lake

We had the most relaxing day on News Year Eve surfing, playing pickle ball and catching up with lake neighbors.  That night we cooked an incredible steak dinner with the Sutherlands and shot off some fireworks in the front yard.  It was simple and great!  Looking forward to 2022!

 

Annual game night gift exchange with the Browns.

After a few days of isolation, no more symptoms and knowing we'd all had COVID in our homes that week, we decided to have our re-scheduled game night with the Browns. Last year was so much fun and we were excited to do it all over again.

Lots of incredible games were gifted but we decided on Wits and Wagers to play right away and it was a great game for all ages.  So much fun!!!

The boys ended the night with a big ping pong tournament.

Days at Home

We had plans to head to my parents house the day after Christmas but that morning Asher tested positive for COVID. The omicron variant was definitely making its way around fast and several friends and neighbors had it at the same time.  Luckily his symptoms were minimal and it didn't slow him down much but we wanted to protect my family so we stayed home and rescheduled our trip. Instead we enjoyed some slow days at home with our new things!

Christmas Evening with Family

We loved hosting our family for Christmas dinner, gift exchange and games! We had so much fun but missed Granny and Grandpa.
