4/4 - Ella rolled her ankle at the Valero Texas Open and ended her golf season that had barely begun. :(

5/12 - Ella has continued uplifted performance all year and is enjoying getting strong (and apparently stealing her coach's phone)!
5/18 - End of year 8th Grade Pool Party
5/20 - Celebrating Addison's birthday
May 23 - Ella's end of year band performance. She is looking forward to closing this chapter and moving on to other things in high school.
May 25 - There is always more when it comes to band. THIS was the final performance and last time to wear the fancy black dress for the YOSA Invitational performance at the Tobin Center.

May 26 - Ella's 8th grade awards ceremony. She was awarded the following:
The President's Education Award (for all A's throughout middle school)
A Honor Roll for 8th Grade
Student Volunteer Service Award, Bronze Level
The hardest part about the dual language program that Ella has done for the last 9 years is that it brought her to a middle school outside of our community. She will not continue the program in high school which means she will be going to a different high school than the majority of her friends. We are thankful for the close friendships she made in the last 2 years but it makes leaving that much harder. She's really sad about it but excited to continue her time with them this summer and plans to stay in touch in high school. They will be at rival schools and she is already looking forward to future sports against them!
