Ella's August FUN with friends

This summer, Ella was almost always out of town or at the lake so she didn't get to see her school friends much until August. And then I felt like I was driving all over town to drop her off or pick her up! :)

Her group planned a fun dinner at BJs for dinner one night.

And then her friend Ruby came to the lake with us for a couple of nights. We even taught her to surf which was super fun. And the boys made them pancakes one morning.

Ella got to experience the fun of Tejas Rodeo for the first time and is already planning the next time.

At the end of the month she spent a weekend at the beach celebrating another friends bday.

First day of School - 3rd, 6th and 8th Grades

TWO in middle school and our first year with them all in a different school.  Juggling THREE schools is no joke but I do love their independence and they are all excited for a wonderful year.

We are so excited to be at a new middle school with Easton this year.  He chose not to continue the dual language program in middle school and it felt really great to be in our own community with friends! He was confident and happy and it's going to be a great year. 

 

Asher's 3rd grade Meet the Teacher - IN PERSON!

Asher walked into his school as a confident 3rd grader! We were all excited that he has Mrs. Toriello this year; a teacher we all know and love!

It was super quick and easy with just one child in elementary this year.

Goodbye long surfer hair.

Asher decided he was ready to cut his hair before school started.  While I was sad to see it go, it was time!
