Thanksgiving week through my iPhone

After our fun weekend at Jellystone, we had a perfect low-key week at home for Thanksgiving.  I didn't pull out my camera until Friday when we decorated for Christmas, but I did snap some pics from my phone throughout the week!

We spent some time at the barn and got to meet our friends' horses for the first time, we watched lots of home videos, we slept in and snuggled, we saw the Peanuts movie with family, we spent lots of time at Granny's house on Thanksgiving day, we had a surprise run-in with Santa and Mrs. Claus, we had family hot-tub time, we drank hot chocolate with LOTS of marshmallows, we took long naps and cozied up by the fire and baking cookies.  Not pictured...we had a fun girls shopping day with friends while the boys played 18 holes of golf and 14 of us ended the day with an amazing dinner at the JW hotel.

Jellystone Park

We started our Thanksgiving break with a fun "glamping" weekend at Jellystone Park at Canyon Lake.  It was a short 45 minute drive and the perfect way to introduce our young kids to the idea of camping.  We explored and played, got dirty and skipped showers, played games, cooked out, roasted marshmallows and relaxed all weekend.

First goals

Ella has been waiting all season and trying so hard to score a goal this season!  She even wrote at school that her personal goal was to score a goal at a soccer game!  Besides a weekend winter tournament in December, they had one last make up game on a Tuesday night.  Easton was playing on Field 7 and Ella was right next to him on Field 8.  She got the ball and SCORED her first goal.  We were so excited for her!  A few seconds later, we quickly looked over to see what was happening at Easton's game and immediately he also SCORED his first goal of the season!  It was such an exciting 30 seconds!  :)
