18 week baby bump

I guess it is true, even for me, that you just don't take as many pictures the 3rd time around!

This was my first baby bump picture at exactly 18 weeks taken on Thanksgiving day.

Ella Pearl at 4 1/2 years old.

Always wants to wear dresses and skirts.

Loves hairbows and wearing her hair down.

Her best friend at school is Sophia and she talks about her all the time.

Likes to learn.  Her teacher describes her as the "busiest body" in the class.  Ella always wants to be doing work and asks for more challenging work.  Her teacher also describes her as very understanding and mature for her age.

Has a great memory and calls it her "rememborie".

Thinks very realistic and practical.

Sweet natured and sensitive but also very very stubborn.

Gets upset easily if something isn't as expected or how she wants.

Very particular!  About her clothes, how things are done, etc.

Always knows well what day of the week it is and what activities she has on which days

Still naps but not all the time.  Regardless, she is required to stay in her room during Easton's nap.

Comes to mommy for everything, very rule-bound.

Loves ballet.

Calls herself a princess.

So very excited that mommy has a baby in my belly and can't wait to be my helper.

She talks to the baby and says, "I love you baby, I'll see you when you come out!"

Goofy goofy and has the best sense of humor.

Loves to hide around the house.

Such a big girl who has made us proud in every way possible!

Kids Choir

For the past several weeks Ella has been attending weekly choir at our church and she loves it!

It's an hour each week to worship, dance, learn new music, meet new friends, and have fun!

Last Wednesday was the big performance on stage with the whole group.

And one of the best parts...she gets to share all this fun with her best friend Addie!

So proud of you Ella!  This season is over but we look forward to starting again in January.

Thank you Granny & Grandpa for coming to watch Ella sing!

Easton at 2 1/2 years old.

As I look at my sweet Easton boy right now at 2 1/2 years old, I pulled a few of my favorite pictures of him from the past 2 months.

His most favorite things in the whole entire world include throwing a football, kicking a soccer ball, and riding his four wheeler.

Always refers to himself as "Easton boy"

Laid back and easy going most of the time

Loves to read books.  His current favorites include: Brown Bear Brown Bear (of which he can read every single word perfectly from memory), But not the Hippopotamus, The Going to Bed Book, Cowboy Small, and Gingerbread Cowboy.  Knows several words from all of these books and reads them to us just as much as we read them to him.

Likes to watch TV, his favorite is Barney

He loves to be outside, and loves to ride the "big 4 wheeler" with Daddy!

Loves puzzles.

Very sweet hearted, affectionate, and caring little boy.

Great sleeper.

He loves his "bear" more than anything.

Sucks his left thumb when he sleeps, when he has his bear, and sometimes just because.

Loves "my buddy Kai" at school.

Favorite game: hungy hungry hippo

He's afraid of the dark but has no problems going to bed and being in the dark in his crib, but won't enter a room by himself if the light is not on and asks me to close bedroom doors or turn the light on.

Not yet very interested in potty training, but has lots of support, when he decides he's ready.

Likes to wear his bike helmet and is great at riding the balance bike

Extremely coordinated and athletic

Hilarious little boy who cracks us up all the time and is so much fun to be around!!!

We love you Easton!

Howl-O-Scream at Sea World

We went early in the day so we missed most of the halloween events, but the highlight of this particular trip to Sea World was that Ella wanted to ride one of the rides all by herself!  Not only did she follow through but she loved it too!!  :)

Halloween in the neighborhood

After seeing an Ariel costume early on, Ella knew that she wanted to dress up as Ariel, but we had a hard time finding a costume that she was comfortable wearing (she can be very picky!)  5 minutes before our neighborhood halloween get together, she found the perfect Ariel costume in her dress box of all places!  Thanks to Aunt Keri for passing down dress up clothes a couple of months ago and there were so many I lost track of what she even had!

She looked beautiful and was happy as can be!

Our neighborhood celebrated on Sunday with food, costume contest, haunted house and trick or treating!

It was a great opportunity for us to meet some more people in the neighborhood, especially some of those with young kids, just like us!

All of the neighbors came out to the end of their driveway with tables and were prepared with lots and lots of candy.  The kids had a blast!

We walked for a long time so Daddy met us with the stroller!
