Easter Weekend: Saturday!

March 31, 2018

On Saturday, I took Ella to her soccer game while Michael took the boys to the neighborhood Easter egg hung where Asher found the Golden Egg!  He was so excited!!

Our church had 2 Saturday Easter services so we went to church at 3pm and then came home and swam the night away.  We are loving this warm weather and introduced the kids to root beer floats tonight.

^^ Love notes from Easton during church ^^

Easter Weekend: Good Friday

March 30, 2018

The kids each had a birthday party to go to on the afternoon of Good Friday so we started our day with parties and then ended with an easy evening at home, playing, dying Easter eggs and our first official swim of the season!  Unfortunately, Easter falls before tax season this year, so Michael was at work.

After school activities

March 26, 2018

These are the days when all three kids are involved in after school activities and I am going different directions each day.  On this particular day it was actually the first day that they all had activities on the same day...Ella soccer practice, Easton a baseball game and Asher swim lessons because he really wants to try out for swim team as soon as he turns 5!

Currently, Ella is still playing soccer with practices twice a week and games on the weekends.  She just started gymnastics once a week as well as continuing guitar lessons once a week.
Easton is playing his first season of baseball and is also a part of the TPC golf team with lessons on Fridays and 4 tournaments.
Asher is attending swim lessons to get ready for swim team try outs and starts his first soccer team in 2 weeks!

It sounds insane but with Michael's help and the help of carpool on some days, it doesn't feel too crazy.  We are loving this season of watching them try new things doing the things they love!  Even with our crazy schedules, I sit down with the kids most nights for dinner at our dining table...we eat together and talk about our day, even if that dinner is at 4:30pm before we head out the door!
