Soccer in College Station

We originally went to College Station for soccer games, but it ended up also being a great weekend of team bonding, fun friendship time and exploring A&M for my first visit ever to College Station! I have to say, I was very impressed with the small town.

First day of school - 1st, 4th and 6th

I couldn't have asked for a better first day!  Everyone was in great moods and it was a fun morning with the excitement of starting a new chapter!

Loved these big smiles when Ella and Daddy pulled in at the end of the day and I couldn't wait to hear about her first day of middle school!!  Everything was good and she already loves it.  

My impressions after the first week.  I could tell by her great mood all week that she was really adjusting well.  Ella loves the added responsibility and independence and is thriving in it.  She has started riding the bus both morning and night and that has really helped with the commute since her school is 20 minutes away.  The boys' jaws dropped when she told them she no longer has to stand in lines or be silent in the hallways.  It's been fun hearing her tell them about all the differences between elementary and middle school and all the things they have to look forward to!

Week 10 of Summer: Having Fun Together!

We stepped it up this week and wanted to make the most of our very LAST week of summer 2019!!!

Monday: ZDT Amusement Park in Schertz, TX with the Browns and the Bureks.  What a great little park that my kids all loved!

Tuesday: Water balloon and egg toss fun with friends and neighbors

Tuesday night was our only free night this week so we used the opportunity for a fun back to school family date night at Down on Grayson and then putt putt at Cool Crest Miniature Golf, where I was the only one to score a hole in one! :)  

Wednesday: the kids got all their energy out at House of Air!

Thursday: Panther Prowl and Meet the Teacher

Friday: Daddy took the day off and we had fun at the JW followed by a big family dinner at Alamo Cafe to celebrate birthdays.

Saturday: We celebrated Ben's birthday!

What a fun week of being together and enjoying SUMMER!  It's been such a great Summer with lots of traveling and lots of time together as a family!
