Bike Rodeo

The bike rodeo is the perfect way to kick off fun school activities! The boys both practiced and really wanted to do well.  Easton was determined to take back first place after getting 2nd the last 2 years and Asher wanted the same, of course!

They both worked hard and did their very best on the day of the event and BOTH came home with 1ST place trophies!  They were thrilled!

  

Celebrating Soccer Friends

First it was Morgan's Pool Party and then Sno Cones with Mikayla after a soccer game!

CBC Faith Runs Deep 5K

For the first time in years, Ella didn't have a soccer game that conflicted with the CBC Faith Runs Deep 5K and we were finally able to participate!  Asher was getting antsy while waiting for the race to start, so in a last minute decision, I decided to do the short 1-miler with him to keep it fun and to challenge him to run the entire way without stopping.  Easton joined us while Ella and Daddy ran the full 5K with the goal of completing it in less than 30 minutes.  

The boys and I were the first ones to finish the 1 mile and seeing as how we were barely breaking a sweat, I'll definitely be getting them to run the 5K next time.

Ella got a stomach cramp early on and had to go a little slower than Daddy, but overall they both did awesome and were happy with their times!  Daddy finished at 28:34 and Ella at 32:28.

Nothing like some super cute puppies to cuddle at the end of the race!!

A great way to start our Saturday morning!
