Halloween Trick or Treating

October 31, 2018

Asher's Pumpkin:

Easton's Pumpkin:

Ella's Pumpkin:

Just as we were loading up to go trick or treating, a HUGE rainstorm blew in so we delayed about half an hour while it passed.  As the clouds cleared, it ended up being a great night and we had fun with the Brown's and Metcalf's.

Happy Half Birthday to my Boys!

October 24 happen to fall on Crazy Hair Day at school!

Asher at 5 1/2

October 24, 2018

At 5 1/2 years old, what stands out to me the most about Asher is how much is loves to write letters and numbers!  He always has a clipboard in hand when we are heading out the door or even just at home and is constantly writing.  These are just a few of the pics I snapped from some of his papers this month.  Not only does he love writing, but he loves to make bubble letters and is incredibly good at them for his age.  They have become his signature handwriting and I've had to ban him for using them on his school papers. :)

Other random things that I have noted about Asher at 5 1/2 years old:
He's a great whistler
Loves school and having homework
Can count to 100 in English
Loves pepper on his food
Likes to burp and really good at making himself burp
Completely loves kindergarten and getting to experience all the things that he has been watching Ella and Easton do!

An envelope note and picture inside taped to the garage door when we came home from date night.

This is one of my favorite pictures that he has drawn for me this month:

We have Michael back!

October 16 - 21, 2018

As soon as tax season was over, Daddy didn't waste any time. He fit in one on one time will each of us that first week.

The following day after tax season, he had BIG surprise for Easton of picking him up early from school and they drove to Houston for an Astros' playoff game. Coach Josh and his son Jack joined them for a super fun trip!

Thursday that same week, the rain continued to cancel practice and games so Michael and I were able to sneak out for a date night to see A Star is Born.

Not only that, but he spent his entire weekend doing normal husband stuff that I wanted to accomplish around the house like cleaning out the attic and hauling off 3 FULL truckloads of stuff!  :)

On Sunday he took the kids to pick out some new halloween decorations and then snuck off with just Asher for a fun ice cream date.

And last but not least, Sunday afternoon he and Ella had lunch and played at the new Andretti Indoor Go Karting and Games where they got to do the ropes course, zip line and go kart racing.  What a blast!

As a family we ended the weekend feeling so FULL and happy to have our ROCK back home with us!
