Fall Seasons at the YMCA

We just kicked off the Fall Season for the kids' sports!  Easton is playing Tball with the Marlins and has his Daddy as the coach.  

Ella is playing soccer on the "Big Red" team and has Uncle Blake as her coach as well as two of her best friends on her team!!

So far we are really excited about both teams and just LOVE watching our kids play and have fun.  The first games were chilly so I hardly pulled out my camera, but they both did great and we are welcoming this cooler weather!

Asher's first day of MDO

Since I'm home full time now, I was hesitant starting Asher in Mother's Day out at this young age of 16 months, but it's been really good for both of us.  He is doing great and I love that he is at the church 2 days a week and getting to spend time with other kids on a regular basis.  And I've really enjoyed having a little bit of extra time those 2 days a week to volunteer at Ella's school or run errands without a toddler in tow!

Asher proves everyday how fearless he is and that he just wants to have FUN!

He has started standing high on Daddy's hands just like Ella does, then diving off, cracking up and wanting to do it all over again!!

Brothers and Tball

Easton is about to play another season of Tball so I pulled out our little plastic set from the attic so that Asher and Easton could "practice" together.  That very day after school I had gone inside for a minute and when I came out to check on the boys I overheard Easton saying "Ok bud, this is how you do it.  You get a good tight grip like this and you hit it!"  It was such a sweet moment for me and I am so excited to get a front seat for all of the sweet "brother" moments to come.

Since this day, Asher has been obsessed with Tball!

Ella's first day of FIRST grade!

The days leading up to school starting, Ella told me she was nervous.  But the night before and the day of she never even mentioned her nerves.  I think you can tell by these pictures she was READY for first grade!  She makes me so proud every single day!

I grabbed a picture of her new tennis shoes when she wore them on the 2nd day because last year I loved seeing a comparison pic of her shoes from first and last day!  She loved hers last year so much that she requested the ones with a "N" on them again!  :) 

And what better way to end your first day of first grade then your Daddy coming home early from work just to surprise you with flowers and to ask about your day!!!

Fun Jumps!

The kids were having so much fun coming up with jumps and trying to get their timing the same.  I LOVE the first one of their "Pencil" jumps.

Megan B. brought over an old school desk one afternoon, so Ella picked a quick outfit from some of her new school clothes and we went out back for a quick, impromptu Back to School shoot!  I love how easy she is to photograph these days!!
