Easton is 4 months old today and getting more and more scrumptious by the day!! In this first picture he is completely focused on Ella who was sitting on the ottoman reading all of his books! It wasn’t super easy getting his picture tonight in the chair since he constantly wants to lean forward and Michael wasn’t there to help me get him to smile…the pictures are still cute!

His hands are CONSTANTLY in his mouth! But, we did confirm at the doctor today that he is not yet getting a tooth. The little white spot on his gum is a mucous pocket and will one day go away! I started thinking that may be the case, since it hasn’t changed in 2 weeks! Regardless, he is still teething with the drooling and chewing on everything!
Tonight for the first time while we were all laying on the floor of his room, I noticed his sweet little hands playing with his feet!

He was perfect at the doctor today….he’s getting big but surprisingly, he’s a tab bit smaller than Ella was at this age!
weight: 14 pounds 11.5 ounces (50th percentile)
height: 25.5 inches (75th percentile)
head: 16.25 inches (50th percentile)
We did find out, however, that our pediatrician is closing his office, so we are meeting with a new one next week and Easton will have to wait a bit longer for his 4 month vaccines….
We were told that we could start cereal and then fruit, however, I’m in no hurry. Easton is doing great with breast milk and cereal just adds one more step to the process, so we’ll just hold off for now! :) Per the doctor, he should be getting about 30-40 ounces daily.
He’s still eating about every 3 hours, but sometimes keeps sleeping and will go up to 4 hours between nursing during the day. His doctor confirmed, there is no need to wake him up prior to the 4 hour mark, and at night he should be going 6-10 hours….he passed that one with flying colors!
As he starts his 5th month, his weekday schedule is the following: Wake up around 7am and nurse, 5 oz. bottles at daycare at 9:30, 12:30, 3:30. Nurse at home around 7pm, down for the night by 7:30/8:00pm, nurse again around 10:30pm. He’s still napping between each nursing for 1-2 hours.
I am so in love with my little boy and it really is amazing how much love I feel for my two little munchkins. Some days I feel like my heart could explode!
