Ella's FIRST Concert - Taylor Swift's Stadium Tour - REPUTATION

Back in May, Megan B. made these cute pretend tickets and for Ella and Addie's 10th birthday, and we gave them the gift of their first BIG concert experience!  

Several months later, September 29 arrived and we were off to Houston for our girls weekend.  We got to Houston early and it was the perfect opportunity for a visit with our friends that we had met at Laity Lodge Family camp the year before.  

After a super fun visit, we grabbed some food and headed to our hotel for a quick change of clothes and then off to the metro rail for a quick ride to the concert.  Another fun first experience for Ella and Addison.

The concert was amazing!!  Ella loved it and she was in aww of so many of the elements.  Taylor Swift did an incredible job and it was the perfect "first concert" for Ella at age 10.  The next morning we had a yummy brunch with our friends before heading back to San Antonio.

New Plants for our Butterfly Garden

Mimi brought us new plants and seeds for our butterfly garden and Ella and Asher did a great job planting them!

There are so many butterflies right now, it's the perfect time to be enjoying this area!

UTSA Football

While Ella and I were in Houston, the boys had a blast at the UTSA Football game!  Asher's first big football game experience.

Bike Rodeo 2018 - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

First up was Kinder!  Asher was beyond excited to participate in his first ever bike rodeo!  He has been riding his big bike for exactly a year now and was thrilled to participate.  He did an amazing job and had so much fun!

Easton...always so cool and collected and such a natural on his bike.

As a 5th grade patrol, Ella was helping out with the lower grades and before she knew it, it was her turn to particpate!

Ella went soooo extremely slow on this one course....the goal is a minimum of 30 seconds and she told me later that she finished at 52 seconds!!

We had such a fun morning at the school and when the kids came to the car after school they were all proudly holding trophies!
