Ella's HS Varsity Golf, Top 5 - Fall Season of her Junior Year
Ella has been on Varsity golf since her Freshman year, but this is her first year on the top 5, traveling team. It's been a busy 4 weeks with their Fall tournaments, but she is doing well and now they have a break from tournaments til February. However, golf never gets a true break...the constant practice and tournaments on her own will continue.....
Sept 20-21 - The girls traveled for the Heart of Texas Tournament at Pecan Valley in Benbrook, TX. This time most of the Dad's went and they had a fun weekend watching their girls play.
Day 1 the girls played 36 holes. Round 1 Ella shot a 75 and round 2 she shot an 81. Day 2 was 18 holes and Ella shot a 77. Overall, the team placed 9th and Addison Braden placed 1st individually!!!

Sept. 27 - 28 - Swing for the Cure at Brackenridge in San Antonio. Again, they played 36 holes the first day and 18 the second day. Ella agreed to let Thomas come watch her play and it was a lot of fun having him there.
Her scored improved a little each round: 83, 79, 76. As a team they came in 13th place.

October 14-15 - Lakeapalooza at Jimmy Clay in Austin, TX.
The moms and girls went up a day early for a practice round and all stayed in an AirBNB. It was a fun time! I stayed both nights in Austin while Michael drove back and forth to watch her play and then be home with the boys.
Ella struggled at this tournament, but she did improve the second day. Golf is so up and down.
Her scores were 90 and 83 for the 2 rounds. The team placed 5th overall.
