New Years Eve

Michael and Easton played golf, Ella hung out with a friend, Asher rested, and I deep-cleaned the boys rooms and game room, and we had friends over to watch the Longhorns bowl game with an easy, casual night!  It was another great day of enjoying each other and our home. 

Three of us (plus Luna) lasted til 11am and celebrated with New Years' Kisses. 

The day after vacation

December 30

The day after vacation is usually one of my favorite days. I actually love unpacking, getting things back in order and being home after several days away.  With this trip being over Christmas, it was that much better to be home.  The boys did their legos from 7am - 3pm with barely any breaks.  I unpacked, did laundry and did a deep clean-out with Ella in her room.  It was a great day! :) 

Asher's 2nd nap in 2 days in a row is definitely a sign that he is getting sick. :(

Santa Came!!!

December 29

Based on the note we had received from our elf, the kids knew to expect something at home and it was super exciting to come home and get to open their Santa gifts.

Asher received a Garmin and 2 big lego sets

Easton received a big lego set, a football quarter back trainer and larger sized footballs

Ella received her white vans and a big bag of soccer stuff plus a volleyball to start practicing for the Winter season!

They were all so excited and then we had one more gift from us....a puzzle of one of our favorite family pictures at family camp. Along with that, we told them we would be spending another week there this summer, one of our very favorite places!  The kids were so sad that we didn't go last year and they talk about family camp often, so we surprised them with another week this coming summer. Yay!

Hunting in Wingate

Michael and Easton went hunting at my parent's place in Wingate and caught a great deer!  They had a pretty sweet deer blind as well. :)

After hunting, it was time to head home after 9 days away!
