Easter!

It wasn't the same this year with Easter falling so early and during tax season but we made the most of it and were so thankful my parents were here to spend the holiday with us.

I loved the kids all dressed up in their bright blue this year!

one....two....three.....GO!

I told the kids I would give them a hint to where the "golden egg" was if they took a quick family picture!  I love how it turned out.

Then right after, Ella found the Golden Egg!

The Easter bunny brought each of the kids swimsuits, binoculars and couple of other small things and 100 water balloons!  Easton could not wait to use his balloons so we had a water balloon fight that afternoon.

As Asher gets older and more articulate, the relationship between these two gets sweeter and sweeter.  This picture below cracks me up.  Easton is so skinny with a six-pack and Asher is ...the opposite.  LOL.    3 years between these two is going to seem like nothing!

2016 Bluebonnets

2016 Bluebonnets

March 19, 2016
We have a ton of bluebonnets scattered throughout our property but not any huge patches.  For the first time since living here, back in October, we planted some of our own.  A lot of them bloomed this year and I already want to plant tons more next year.  The kids loved watching them grow.

It seems I always have hard time capturing a calm photo of the kids in bluebonnets but I always end up with lots of fun silly ones.

Spring Break, part 3

After coming home from my parents' house, my mom and sister came to my house for a couple of days.  It was nice to have company especially since Michael had to work so much ALL week!  And it was fun to have an opportunity to take Mimi out for some birthday ice cream!!

Spring break, part 2 - Time with cousin Mason

Spring break, part 2 - Time with cousin Mason

March 15, 2016
One day over spring break we invited Mason to join us at the pool and the kids had a blast with him on all the fun slides!  Now that Asher can swim, he and Easton were both independent enough to go down the small slides on their own and it was a strange feeling for me to be able to sit back on a lounge chair while they were having a blast in the water.  It was awesome!

On another day, Mason took Ella to hit some golf balls and then for some Bahama Bucks.  When he brought her home he stayed to play for a bit!  We all love cousin Mason and are so thankful for this time with him!!
