Week 1 of Summer - Asher at Camp Tejas!

 The very first day of summer and Asher was out the door by 8am to head to a 5 day 4 night church camp.

Day 1 - Drop off at church and get settled at camp.

Days 2-4 Asher spotted having fun at camp!!!

Day 5 - Last day at camp and he's home!!! Asher absolutely loved it and had a truly great time. He loved his counselor, Kenley Cook and I heard from Bekah, the preteen leader, that the two of them really connected.  What a special week for Asher and a great way to kick off summer!!

First Golf Tournament of the Summer and crushing their goals!

Sunday June 2, Ella and Easton kicked off their summer golf season with an STPGA Junior Tour tournament at Buckhorn.  They both played well and BOTH ended up winning the tournament, their first Junior Tour win.  It was such an exciting day. 

Ella shot an 80 and placed 1st amongst 15-18 girls. With her good friend, Ella Pilgrim right behind in 2nd place. 

Easton finished about an hour later and came in 1st for 13-14 boys, shooting his personal best of 75!

He literally crushed THREE of his summer goals in this first tournament.  He and Michael had recently set golf goals and the three he met were the following: break 80 by end of summer, shoot 75 by the end of this year, and win a Junior Tour Tournament! 

Michael forgot to snap a picture of Easton by himself, but this is him and Lia. She will also be playing golf as a freshman at Johnson next year and placed 2nd for 13-14 girls.
