We have tons of lizards around our house and it has been Easton's goal for a while to catch one! Michael caught TWO for him the other day and when we were letting them go they got a little playful with Easton. He loved it!

a perfectly lazy weekend
Daddy was out of town and the weather was cold and wet! For the kids and I that combination resulted in lots of movies, lots of cuddling, lots of indoor creativeness, non-stop fires, and even a quick 1-night visit from Mimi and Papa. A simple lazy weekend turned out to be pretty perfect!

Easton's 2nd Tball Season
While Ella was playing soccer, Easton played Tball, also at the Mays family YMCA. Their practices were both Thursdays at 6:15pm and it worked out so well. Michael was Easton's coach so we split up for practice but got to watch all of their games together.
Tball was so much fun! Easton had a great team and we met so many great families on his team this year as well. I absolutely loved getting Easton all dressed up in his Tball uniform each Saturday morning and it was fun getting to see his name all over everybody's gear. :) For the most part he was really engaged and had tons of fun! His strengths were hitting and throwing for sure and it was so much fun to watch him. The last game one of his teammates even caught the ball that he threw to 1st base. It was the first catch of the whole season and very exciting for these Tballers!
The theme of the season was reminding the boys "You're on the same team!!!" It was quite comical to see five to six 4 year olds from the same team diving for the ball and no one giving up or letting go. One of my pictures below was a perfect capture and representation of this! Most importantly they had a lot of fun, and learned a few things in the process.
Thanks Daddy for being the best coach and so patient!!!

Ella's 2nd Soccer season
Soccer at the Mays family YMCA has come to a close and it was such a great season!! Ella had 2 of her oldest friends on the team and met some really great new friends as well. I never minded sitting at practice or games because Asher is so well entertained and happy simply being outside and having my best friend on the sidelines to chat with wasn't a bad perk either!!
And most of all, Ella loved it!! She looked forward to practice and games each and every week and most definitely showed a strong love for and strength for the goalie position. She was so fun to watch and quickly became the teams main goalie. They played on a bigger field and learned new positions too. I am so thankful that her Uncle Blake wanted to coach again and made it such a fun season for these girls!!
Some of my favorite action shots below!

Asher is 18 months!!
Right at 18 months he started saying so many more words and trying to repeat everything we say // He is such a CLIMBER, always on top of the tables // he's very rough but he's super quick to give you a hug when he sees if you are hurt or sad // fearless // affectionate // loves balls // always happy // loves tee ball and golf // left handed and left footed but currently bats right handed // always throws his food on the floor when he's done // loves to be outside // every time we go outside lately he says "tee, tee, tee, tee" until we pull down the baseball tee and then it's "ball, ball, ball" until we give him the bat and ball // learning sign language and acts shy when he does it...favorites are "more please" // having fun at kids day out // laid back // very independent and not afraid to walk off when we are out and about...have to keep an extremely close eye on him // starting to show a little interest in TV, mainly just one show we have about farm animals that we call "piggies" // SO CUTE!!!
