Easton has a Frenectomy

 Just like I did at his age, Easton needed a frenectomy to help close the large gap between his front two teeth.  He was a champ and the whole procedure was easy peasy!

Decorating for Christmas

The weekend after Thanksgiving we pulled down our tree and all the boxes from the attic to start decorating for Christmas!

New Mexico Road Trip - Day 7: Carlsbad Caverns and Driving Home

We woke up and enjoyed a quick breakfast at the hotel before making the quick drive to our last stop and last National Monument of the trip...Carlsbad Caverns.  Along with the kids, it was my first time to visit Carlsbad Caverns and it was amazing!  The kids loved it as well, but it was long and they actually said they prefer the Natural Bridge Caverns right here outside of San Antonio, TX!

We had such an amazing week of exploring new places and embracing the outdoors and truly soaking in the state of New Mexico.  So so great and the kids proved to be great ages for this kind of road trip...I'd do it again in a heartbeat

As we pulled into our house around 8pm that night, we checked our trip stats to see the following:

38.5 hours in the car and 2,101 miles traveled!

What a great trip, another fun Perkins - Brown Family Thanksgiving road trip in the books!
