Always a fun day to see the boys after 2 weeks. They are exhausted and tan but full of smiles and full hearts. They definitely miss Finn more than us, but that's ok! :)

Laity Lodge Youth Camp - Easton
This was Easton's final year at camp and then he officially aged out as a camper. He was in Cabin 4...the oldest and most fun cabin. They get to do a lot of special things that he told us all about, but only in secret. For sure Asher can't hear! I love the traditions and fun, crazy things they do at camp. Easton had a blast. He loved playing basketball this year and all the sports!! He connected with counselors and fellow campers. More and more stories continue to come out the more we talk. It's the best.
Laity Lodge Youth Camp - Asher
2026 was Asher's 4th Summer at LLYC and 2nd year at Echo Valley. He was in cabin Camelot with all new counselors but several friends from previous years.
I still miss my boys when I drop them off at camp, but I have so much peace in knowing they are at a place that brings so much JOY. After having spent so many years together at Family Camp, Michael and I know first hand just how special Laity Lodge is and recognize what a blessing it is for the boys to spend 2 weeks here every summer completely UNPLUGGED from everything else. I love it for them so much.
Because of Family Camp, Asher has been spending summers here since he was 3 years old and it has always always been one of his favorite places. He loves every bit of camp. This year he took his own fishing gear so that he could fish whenever he wanted and said he caught about 20 fish in the first few days. I can see he is making deeper friend connections each year and with phones, he can stay in touch outside of camp. He said he danced with several girls that were taller than him (so typical at this age) but he can't wait to grow! Asher fully embraces camp life and enjoys every minute. At campout, their chili was the worst and his cabin got last place. lol. However, his team, Bounty (Yellow) WON the rodeo. So many stories and fun moments that get told as he processes over the next couple of days. And he's already registered for next year!
