After school

Asher and I pick up the older kids from school at 2:30 and 2:45 so we are all back home by 3:00 everyday which usually gives us lots of time to play.  With this warmer weather, we have loved to be outside!

This little guy has been opening all my cabinets for a while now and he has even started opening the refrigerator and freezer.  This craft cabinet is his favorite...it keeps him pretty entertained.  

I laughed when I opened a cabinet the other day and found the blender full of coffee k-cups.  No doubt Asher was there!

First sleepovers

After having our friends Sophie, Sloane and Liam over to play during Spring Break, last minute they invited both Ella and Easton over to spend the night.  Ella has had sleepovers with Addie before but I was always with her.  So I let her make the choice if she wanted to or not.  She did!  So we packed her a bag and she was ready to go.  Easton was set on going as well, however, I was not ready to send him, especially after a bad asthma attack he had experienced just a couple of nights before.  Liam however was happy to stay, so we ended up switching...the girls went with Brandi and the boys stayed with me.  It was fun and they all did great!

Ella had a blast too and when I asked her the next day if she missed me she confidently said "no".  I told her that was great!!  :)  

Spring Break

For Spring Break my sister and I both packed up our kids and headed to my parents' house to spend more time with my grandmother.  It was great to have all of us there together!

Visit from Gigi

Right before Spring Break we had an extra special visitor...my grandmother from New York.  I hadn't seen her in almost 10 years and she had never met any of my three kids!  Despite the fact that she is 88 years old, she made the flight down here all by herself for a visit!  We couldn't have been more excited.   

She spent two nights at our house before going to my parents' for the rest of her visit and my kids loved her so much.  Those were treasured memories having her here.

After carefully watching Easton with this toy drum one day, Asher quickly crawled over and grabbed the drum sticks the second Easton put them down.  He played perfectly and it quickly became his favorite toy!
