Our first baby pool swim of the season!

Ella has been asking me daily for the past month if she could get in the "big blue pool" so FINALLY we did! 

Swim Lessons!

Ella and I just finished our second week of swim lessons and we are having so much fun!  We go Thursdays at 6, so I get either Granny & Grandpa or Daddy to watch Easton and this is something that just Ella and I get to do together.  So far she is doing great!  For this first class I'm in the water with her, so I could only get some quick picks of her before class while she was patiently waiting her turn!

Funny story...last week on the way home from lessons I told her she could have a cookie as a treat for doing so good.  She immediately told me she didn't want a brown one (ie. thin mints) and so I offered her a shortbread cookie.  She didn't want it and chose to have dried prunes as her treat instead.  Then, this week there were a couple of things that she didn't want to do in class so I told her she could have a treat if she listened and did everything asked of her.  I mentioned ice cream several times.  But then after class I asked her what she wanted as her treat (thinking that we'd stop for ice cream on the way home), but her response..."Apples!".  So, we came straight home and she had some dried apples.  :)  It baffles me, but I love that she is so conditioned to like fruit so much, and that she is not a huge sweet eater! 

Back to school pool party!!

Ella has been so brave this year in the water…we are so proud of her and think that next year will be the perfect time to start swim lessons! After watching Carter and Addie, she did not want to stop jumping off the diving board!

A perfect layout…aka “belly-flop”!!

While playing in the baby pool, I saw them hugging each other real tight and at first I was amazed at how affectionate they were being. Then I realized that they were trying to help each other crawl onto the fountain in the center!!

It was so cute to watch them helping each other…I didn’t interfere, and after several tries, they finally made it!! Ella helped Addie and then I gave Ella a little boost so they could be up there together.

Easton goes swimming!

Easton has been around the water many times, but this weekend was his first time to actually wear his swimsuit and get in the water! Of course Addie and Ella were right by his side.
